MANIFESTO
We promote the radical reuse of existing buildings as the primary resource for the future of our built environment.
We treat all that exists with respect and love.
We follow the 3Rs 3-step priority system:
1. Reduce impact by avoiding the unnecessary.
2. Reuse all existing potentials and resources: physical, energetic, spatial, social, historical, legal, environmental and economic.
3. Recycle what cannot be reused - contribute to a circular economy.
We follow the law of minimal intervention:
Achieve the most positive social impact with the least negative environmental consequences.
DISCOURSE
RRRArchitecture is not only based on a material discourse, but also on a constant reflection on the way we think about our role in architecture.
What does it mean to develop existing frameworks and structures instead of designing something new?
Can we change the perceptions or behaviors of users instead of making material interventions?
What compels us to keep changing and renewing?
What interests are at stake?
How can we move the building industry towards a circular economy?
How can architecture become a means to create a deeper relationship with our environment?
How can we push the education, the regulatory framework, and the politics of architecture forward?
RRRArchitecture is part of a larger movement for a new awareness in dealing with existing structures.
We are convinced that there is no ecological alternative to making the existing future-proof - and that this commitment is also economically rewarding.
RRRArchitecture is a founding signatory of the Abriss-Moratorium and supports the initiatives of AbbrechenAbbrechen, an.ders Urania and HouseEurope!.

ABOUT
RRRArchitecture is an international network of architects, urbanists, experts, and researchers. We initiate, consult, program, plan, and manage architectural projects.
We teach, research, inform, explore, publish, and exhibit, constantly redefining our understanding of and relationship with the built environment.
RRRArchitecture brings together likeminded players in real estate and architecture – to move this field towards a regenerative future.
Our members are offices, institutions or individuals that act together as branches of our organization. These branches operate as independent organizations under the umbrella of RRRArchitecture to plan, re-develop, and re-build under the guidelines of Reduce, Reuse and Recycle.
RRRArchitecture projects are discussed, evaluated and accepted in a cooperative process.
The projects are reviewed and enriched by a transdisciplinary and international discourse and accompanied by our experts.

SERVICES
RRRArchitecture's transdisciplinary composition enables it to offer holistic and comprehensive solutions for the development, qualification and evolution of existing buildings and ensembles.
Project-specific teams bring together our specialists with local partners to develop local, contextual visions for the future of properties.
This vision includes usage and user considerations, programming, investment concepts, planning approaches and visualisations that convey a meaningful, economically and architecturally robust image of a possible future.
We provide precise proposals for action and measures to implement this vision and present investment requirements and expected returns.
We are able to offer a full range of services, from the definition of a use, investment and financing concept; investor search or tenant management; to the role of a full-service provider.
We advise on purchasing decisions by providing a sound assessment of development opportunities and risks.
We evaluate and advise on different action scenarios and their economic, environmental and social viability. Our in-house tools enable us to assess 'the right thing to do'.
We determine how the property performs and the global warming potential of various interventions.
We further assess factors such as the historical and social resources an existing building offers and its identification and development potential.
Together with our partner offices and network, we can cover the full range of planning and strategic services in the implementation of the proposed scenarios.
We think and act as socially and ecologically responsible developers. Both on behalf of and in economic cooperation with private and public clients.
